In her role as director of public relations for The Humane Society of the United States, Heather Sullivan implements media campaigns to promote and educate the public about the programs and policy work of The HSUS  and its affiliates. Through proactive outreach , The HSUS has earned the reputation as the go-to  resource on animal-welfare issues for national and local media outlets. Before joining The HSUS, Heather worked in media relations for a national non-profit advocacy organization and as a producer for CNN.
